Getting ready

Tomorrow is Liberation Day in Guernsey. The day, 73 years ago, that the islanders were liberated from five years of German Occupation. Lots of houses put out bunting and flags. I usually borrow the bunting from school but it slipped my mind this year, so I’ve just got the Union Jack instead. Charlie and his band, Isle Stone, are playing two gigs tomorrow to celebrate Liberation Day, so I’m hoping to blip one of those tomorrow. Watch this space!
