Painted Ceiling

I welcomed some of my ex-QMU colleagues to Newbattle for a team-building away day. I took them round the college and showed them the highlights including this hand painted ceiling by Thomas Bonnar in the Drawing Room. It took 2 years to paint and is considered to be the finest in Scotland and possibly the UK.
Double-booked myself this evening so instead of attending an event at the National Portrait Gallery, I ended up at the QMU Community Forum!
