travelling...

...business class at 'Charlie's.

Checked in today for a 'radiological intervention' on the two dastardly tumours that have decided to take up residence in my liver.
The lovely Mr T...one of only a couple of surgeons who does this here in the West...works out of Charlie's (Sir Charles Gairdener's) a public hospital.
So when I clocked on as a private patient on offer was not only  Mr T's wonderful talents but a pack of very fine toiletries and a meal voucher for Tam.
Free tv was on offer too but as my ward neighbour Bernie was without hearing aids and played his tv at full volume while promptly falling asleep that option was not needed!
