Yes We Have Liftoff!

The latest batch of gum tree blossoms are bursting forth everywhere I look. The lid on this one is just lifting off and you can see how tightly packed they are before they open out wide, gorgeous things! :o) Another shot in the extra's of one that's opened.

We are both feeling a lot better today, hubby is recovering well and much quicker than I did! Then late this afternoon another huge wave of smoke rolled in from more controlled burns in the hills ugh cough cough cough!!!
I've put a shot of how the sun looked going down in the extra's, actually looks like the smoke apocolypse!!!

All the shots definitely look better in large with the black background!
