Demolition and cherry blossom

It’s been a busy day at work today getting ready for a few days off.

I stopped off on my way home to take a picture of some flats that are in the process of being pulled down. They have been empty for a few years now. They were owned by a charity which provides housing for people with disabilities. I really hope the site is used for a similar purpose - I fear it will be used to build expensive houses - I hope I am proved wrong

Update - after a bit of research I have found out that the charity who owned the land and who wanted to build houses to sell did not get permission to do this and have sold the land to a housing association to build affordable homes
