Llantrisant Castle

On the way home from taking photo's of the windturbines at Brynna, near Llantrisant, I stopped off at Llantrisant Old Town. A while back the town councillor saw some photo's I took and wanted them for the town museum he's running in the Guildhall. It was shut but opposite is the castle ruin which once held King Edward 2nd prisoner on 16 November 1326.

It's captured the sun burning through the clouds and a passing jet plane. It fits the wide wednesday theme of 'sun or moon'.
