An Eastern Bank Adventure in Skopje

I am in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.

I have had a micro-adventure exploring the tiny side streets on the east bank of the Vardar river in Skopje.

As one of the oldest and largest marketplaces in the Balkans, it has been Skopje's centre for trade and commerce since at least the 12th century.

It really does give such an adventurous feel, exploring all the tiny back streets that I am sure most tourists ignore.
