Fresh From The Beauty Parlour

Mabel spent her morning at the groomer, getting her summer look just right.  Freshly shorn of her sheeplike pelt, we took a walk on Boston Common, and the next thing she knew, someone*  had hoisted her up into a cherry tree!  The expression on her face says it all ... "how many indignities must I put up with in one day????"
