Pickwick or Penguin Club

Another productive day at home in the clearing up stakes at home!  An evening stroll on the Canal for a dog exercise in the cooler part of the day.
Today's entry is a photo of a photo from 1974/5  taken at one of our May weekends at Overstrand, some ale was consumed on these weekends and there was a woman's movement  to join the male only Pickwicks  (remember this mid 70's) so an alternative Penguin club was  offered. I will say that only the Pickwick club still functions as per the weekend away to the Cotswolds last month. Those were the days!
