Haematopus ostralegus

Commonly here called the South Island :Pied Oyster Catcher can be found all over the Globe. Found throughout NZ but they only breed in NZ in the South Island. I'm not sure if they breed elswhere in the world but I assume they do? someone can put me straight on that one??
