1:1,000,000,000 Scale: Mercury

Here's the first planet in this model solar system.  They apparently put little globes on the top of these slender pyramids to represent each planet, again approximately on scale, but most of them are too small to really see in a photograph even though the sun dominates its photo.  Note the distance from Mercury to the Sun.
