Turfed

The final match on this pitch at Tynecastle, it gets lifted tomorrow and replaced with a natural/artificial combo pitch. That's what they have at Murrayfield so I've got high hopes for a great surface next season to match the Jambos' silky passing game. Mmm.
Anyway, tonight was a typical, towsy derby with not much decent football but plenty of effort, missed tackles, mistimed tackles, dodgy passing, aimless punts but, most importantly, a couple of cracking goals. After such a poor season it was great to finish with a derby win especially as there's no guarantee that any of our loan players will be back and the goalie is also probably on his way. That's half the team! Yet another rebuilding exercise then.
