Race the Train

Sogned up today for a race on 10th June. An 11 mile race the train event from Bury to Rawtenstall.

Basically on the trains whistle you run north, while the steam engine and carriages head south/east to Heywood.

The train then sets off to Rawtenstall via Bury and Ramsbottom passing runners as it goes...unless you beat it.

Not sure I will but hopefully will get to Irwell Vale before I hear it.

Real Ale and a train ride afterwards as a reward.
