Blessed

Esther went to Jackie's today while myself, Iris, Gem and Dad went to scatter Mum's ashes. My Dad wanted to scatter her under the apple tree in the garden but me and Gem were very against it especially when he plans to downsize at some point. We convinced him to scatter her in the crematorium and we were all pleasantly surprised when we saw the gardens. It's almost like a wood and we picked a tree in the sunshine near a bench. We also found the memorial tree where we have organised to have a leaf hung with a message to Mum.

After a quick lunch in the Red Lion I headed home for a sleepy cuddle of this one before the crazy one came home.

Reasons to be cheerful:
A massive weight has been lifted now Mum is in her final resting place. Love you Mum.
