Honesty

We were challenged, about 30 yrs ago, by Scotland's greatest, and most over-looked, plantswoman. The exceedingingly knowledgeable and diligent Mrs B was domiciled at her nursery on the Black Isle.

She challenged us to grow a lunaria rediviva - indicating the Buchan frosts would kill it. It remained at three inches high for many years despite being swathed in straw every winter.

We persisted and took it north with us on return to the Orcades. Suddenly it has bloomed. As has the Current Mrs ('don't mention Jim Duffy') Creel.

This Blip may contain nuts.

It certainly does include a picture of my Carer.
