Some days it's necessary to do shopping and housework. While in Kendal I saw posters for the funfair so wandered down by the river to have a look  

The land it's on has been the subject of much controversy lately and the use has changed from a car park to a recreational area. I don't know what effect the fair will have on the newly laid turf.
