Love your library

The first of the Linton Children's Book Festival events kicked off today with a 'Love Your Library' celebration.  It gave me the opportunity to listen to several of my friends (and some of their children) perform in a relaxed and informal setting.  Wonderful!

This is the 'Ding Dong Belles'  including Ukulelehayley, who were fabulous, and count present and former Linton Children's Bookfestival administrators as their members...but also performing today were the 'flute group' and 'Copper and Zinc'.  The flutes were absolutely great but Copper and Zinc, a group of 4 young and talented brass players was particularly impressive as they are so young!  Both are in the extra photos: very well done all.

In addition I looked at some books, bought tea and cake, had some good chats, bought raffle tickets and renewed my library card!

What's not to like about that?
