Seed preparation

Only barley this time, as I have bought the oats seed. Checked the dates of previous blips of the same subject. Seriously late this year, more than a week later than any of the previous four springs. But despite the warm weather this week the ground is still quite wet, though it depends on whether it has been tilled in the autumn or not.
