The World Through My Eyes

By Marlieske

There is always one...

Today the third outside lesson of the nature course that I follow, we went to the Aa-broeken (translated as the Aa-Trousers...lol )
The Aa-broeken form a relic of the former river valley landscape of the river Aa. The area consists of grasslands, interspersed with wood girdles, moist deciduous and grove forests and marsh zones. We learned about all the differed Buttercups, Lilies, duckweed and Salamanders... Alpine water salamander and the Small water salamander... A very interesting morning...

Thanks for all your lovely comments, hearts and stars for yesterdays Blip! Xxx
