Ceanothus

This shrub is just coming into flower although those in nearby gardens are in full bloom!  It looks as though we are going to miss our beautiful big red clematis  again this year as it is laden with buds that are not going to open before Wednesday. Shame, but I'm not going to delay my holiday!  :-)
