Seen better days

Well hasnt today turned out to be beautiful!
Not what they forecast at all, not that I am complaining :-)

Slept pretty well, after breakfast out for a walk, stopped for the papers, a wander along the canal bank, saw this somewhat unloved little boat, moored up beside an equally unloved building :-/ Perfect for our resurrected Derelict Sunday.... thanks to Marlieske for hosting :-)

We have spent all afternoon gardening. The front garden for me....as much as I love the muscaris, once they have gone over, they do need pulling up pretty quickly, soon look rather tatty! Hub has been beavering away in the back...oh and he watched his team play their final game of the season....they have survived, so remain in the Premier league. He is happy although a little deflated as Man City got a late winner :-/

We had a couple of glasses of rose wine in the garden after the footy had ended before going in for dinner, Garam masala coated roast pork loin, with pears, roast potatoes, carrots, mange tout, brocolli tips and green beans.....a bit different!

The forecast for the next couple of days is looking promising :-)))
