Visiting baby Hamish

We went and visited the Highland wildlife centre today after a swim in the hotel this morning. The wildlife centre was fantastic and we were glad to see baby polar bear Hamish out playing with his mum Victoria. The ranger providing information was very knowledgeable and answered all of the kids questions to their satisfaction :) The rest of the exhibits were great too and Euan was most excited to go and see the Scottish wildcats. We spotted one resting up on a branch, while it’s two wee kittens slept in a box/den on the ground. Euan says they look just like Stripe and we all agree!

It was 19 degrees out so ice lollies all round before heading back to Coylumbridge for tea. A great day all round.
