First lines

These are the other postcards I bought at the British Library on Sunday. I always think if there was a pub quiz round for first lines of books I would be pretty good...
Had a lovely day; pancakes for breakfast with Will and Hannah, then lunch with Mamma and Aunty Lynne, who had come to Cardiff for the day. In the evening we went to an event run by Afghan Voice, which was so interesting. And the food was SO good.
