Southern Lapwings

It was around 7AM when I saw this couple of lapwings during my morningv walk, just in the middle of the street! As a defender of the birds, I couldn't take the risk to let them being hit by a car, so after I took the picture I had to scare them and then they flew away - good action of the day.
