Testing, testing

After all my whinging yesterday, today was wall to wall sunshine with a nice accompanying breeze - perfect :-)
Whilst LH went to get his back unkinked, Poppydog and I went for a walk - except we didn't really; we encountered some feisty Terns who've arrived over the past week and they seemed pretty unhappy about our arrival. So for the sake of world peace Poppydog and I only walked a short stretch. As an extra treat we found Sandmartins checking out nesting sites. It's definitely hotting up!
The blip just shows a quiet few minutes' coffee and crossword, checking out our seating area. The thinking is that we prettify this little space and the rest is allowed a lot of leeway. The trouble is that it is a long term plan and labour intensive at the moment and we just so want to enjoy the restricted amount of time we have here. Ho hum.
Other news: LH won his match play competition this evening on the 19th hole and is now out Weds night for the quarter final. And I've just discovered another lump of concrete (along with asbestos, some fairly ferocious teeth which I suspect are feline, new sherds and a fair array of bits of old snack wrappers) whilst digging over my new 'flowerbeds'. Oh, and stacks of field stone.
