Finally ... maybe

We have never had such much blossom on the cherry tree.  It is as if spring is trying to make up for the long, cold, wet winter.  No apple blossom yet.

I learned this afternoon that an old colleague and friend has been admitted to hospital for palliative care.  He was recently diagnosed with cancer and it has spread quickly.  Such a shock.
