A view from the bottom of the garden!!

An early rise to head up to Nottinghamshire. The roads were superbly quiet and were were there by 12 o’clock.

The job for today was to erect a fence at the bottom on the garden. There is a railway sleeper wall which would work for small children, but not for daft dogs!!!

Our 3 girls would take a running jump and land in the nettles about 4 foot down on the other side!! They wouldn’t be able to get back. So thanks to internet shopping we ordered the poles, wire netting and fixings, which were delivered the following day.

It was relatively easy to erect and fits the purpose perfectly. We still want to be able to see through and from a distance the netting isn’t noticeable. I have permission to plant a climbing rose in the centre, Crepuscule, my New Zealand rose!!!

A few odds and ends done before heading over to collect the girls from kennels. Amber has been away for a week and it seems so much longer. She is so pleased to be home :0)

I checked out the bird box camera and we have babies!!!! Not sure how many of the 6 eggs have hatched because the camera is not directed onto the whole nest.
