Fluffed up

Quite breezy today and the rheas feathers were all fluffed up. I was watching the baby black swan, who I am pleased to report is still alive and trotting about quite well. Daddy swan does the child for a lot of the time during the day, chasing after it and keep it safe. Mother swan is still sitting on four eggs, I am wondering now if they will hatch, it’s three days now since the first (and only) one did.
