Men Not At Work

This sort of thing happens quite a lot here.  Some blokes arrived one evening a couple of weeks ago, put up some signs along the lines of "No parking in this area" and these Men At Work signs and we've seen nothing since.

We didn't get any mail saying "We'll be working in your area between blah and blah, and we'll be doing something incredibly important."

No, we got no information at all.

The signs are still up though and nothing has happened in the 2 weeks.

I had a fun day at work.  Really.  I cracked a problem that had been bugging me for ages.  It means I can make some real progress on a project that really needs it.  That was fun.

And I got a compliment from a colleague in Hamburg.  He was really surprised that I always try to help and I always seem interested in fixing problems.  I have no idea why you wouldn't be.  I'm repsonsible  for supporting his project, of course I'm going to help. Help helps.  Help is not "What do you <sigh> want this time <sigh>?"
