Guernsey Tapestry

Today was set aside for the tourist trail in St Peter Port. It has been overcast most of the day but we did have a few blinks of sunshine - hopeful for a better day tomorrow!
I couldn’t leave Guernsey without a visit to the Tapestry. The wonderful project has one panel for each of the last 10 centuries. The audio guide set the scene and I had to buy the book to add to my collection about tapestry projects. The staff member thought that she had the ‘Great Tapestry of Scotland‘ book under the counter! The blip is the sampler created by some of the stitchers.
