Rehashed Horseshoes

When I first found these rusty old horseshoes on the Land, thought they looked like wine glasses... have spent most of today (inbetween the usual stuff of living, cooking, tidying, hour on phone to friend in distress, walking dog, and etc) making them into that. Took some fine drilling on Mike's part as well. At this point, I was deciding whether to add a quote from the Bible: Wine which cheers both God and man. Judges 9:13.

Which I did in the end, but in Portuguese: Vinho que alegra a Deus e aos homens. Difficult to choose size and placing of writing, and what script to use, plus not confident on ladder. Anyway, done, and some black highlighting on stems of glasses. Breaks up the red a bit, certainly shiny. You can also see one of the rainbows from Jan's crystal.

Mike took the car to Reguengos to be serviced, it's ready, we'll go on the bus tomorrow early to collect it. And then spent more time turning the pigsty into bedrooms for five...
