Tinkinswood Stars

I got to this 6000 year old Neolithic burial chamber at St Nicholas, near Cardiff about midnight, having made my way there as it was such a clear starry night. It's not the easiest thing to photograph in the pitch black as it's in a bit of a crater and surrounded by trees and pylons.

The blipfoto is a view across the 40 ton capstone looking towards Cardiff. It's on eof the biggest capstones in the UK.
