Palace of Arts

We had a much more gentle day today. We caught the train to Valencia where we are staying for 4 nights. This was a much slower journey than the TGV and took 3 hours but there was a lot of scenery to watch. We are travelling first class on the trains which is not nearly as expensive as flying. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of leg room. It was like being on an aeroplane though with a stewardess bring round newspapers, then a choice of drinks and later there were sandwiches and coffee all included in the price. We wondered what 'aperitif' on the tickets meant and now we know.

Our hotel is nice and central. This evening we walked through the parks to the city of arts and sciences. I love the architecture but am not sure how to isolate the buildings.
