A Gift For Someone I Don't Know

I do know that it will be a child with a serious illness. I, and 44 other members of my woodworking club, are making boxes for the Beads of Courage project. The boxes will be used to hold their collections of beads. We were given instructions about the minimum size requirement -- some of  the children accumulate hundreds or even thousands of beads!

Before I could make this mitered-corner box, I had to make a miter sled to cut the miters on my table saw -- see extra photo of sled and first test box. I'd been wanting to do this for a long time -- I just needed the right incentive!
