Water source.

This is how I collect fresh spring water for drinking now.
Sounds a bit odd you may think?

It’s because the City Council has started adding strong amounts of Chlorine to the city’s water . They say it’s because they have to do some serious maintenance to the water treatment plant and the Chlorine is to ensure the safety of the water.
It’s created quite a stirr. It seems that if the Council had maintained the equipment properly this would not be needed to be done now.
They say it will be a short term thing but not sure about that.

The chlorinated water that comes out of our taps now tastes awful, very strong smell too. Gives me a headache!
Can’t drink it and hate showering in it, you smell like you’ve just got out of a swimming pool!

So, the photo shows a man filling bottles at a pipe that a property owner who happens to have a natural spring on their land, has kindly put out on the roadside to supply free fresh Spring water for those who want to use it.
It was so busy when I was there today , with people constantly arriving.
