Ah, Friday Evening, glad you could make it.  I'll be right with you.

I was very pleased to get home.  It was a day where I felt like the stupidest man in the world.  My ability to express myself disappeared.  It felt like every question was beyond me.  I'm hoping it is only temporary, another day like today would have me running for the hills.

And then getting home was a trial.  My bus arrived on time - the first time in weeks - and promptly broke down 2 bus stops later.  It's 30 minutes until the next bus goes, so i walked into town.  That takes about 25 minutes and it gave me  chance to find today's Blip.

And I nearly got run over.

I have no problem with cyclists on the pavement - the Frankfurter Straße into town is narrow and I'm well aware of what car drivers are NOT capable of.  But if you are going to ride your bike on the pavement, would you please not do so when you're staring at your mobile phone...  I mean if you're driving and looking at your phone, you should join the car drivers and do it on the road.

Now if you don't mind, I have to get back to Friday Evening - it wouldn't do to keep it waiting.
