He’s wondering where everybody’s gone.

Today Richard, his mum, two of the dogs and two horses went on holiday. Although ‘holiday’ in equestrian terms means ‘horse show’!

Several other horses are currently off the yard - three at the vets ( two because they’re due in season and will be inseminated as soon as the time is right and one to have a tooth out ), two have gone to be broken in and two have been turned out in one of the newly created paddocks, day and night.

It’s nice to have a bit of spare time to do little bits of tidying up that I don’t get time to do when all the horses are there.

For Echo, it means he gets to eat his tea in peace, as he used to share his pen with one of those away to be broken in.
