Faochag

Another long day with two tough Munros to add to the tally.
My original plan was to climb the forcan ridge to The Saddle.
Wind and rain made the start of the ridge suspect, and called for some sensible decision making.
I backed off and took the alternative route.
A good move in the end.
Then on to Sgurr na Sgine. Long but not difficult.
The descent via Foachag is described as steep but easy.
What! !!!
It was a knee wrecking complete b**ger of a descent.
But.....Foachag itself was a delightful hill and deserves it's own merit.
