Alcázar and Poppies

The Alcázar ( also shown in yesterday's blip) dominates the skyline of Toledo.
To view the entire city from a distance there are a few options to drive around town. We chose the 'Noddy Train' (see extras) which was only six euros and gave the opportunity for spectacular panoramic views of the city. (in extras).
Later in the afternoon, we went inside Toledo Cathedral which was absolutely breathtaking.
So glad we came to Toledo, an absolutely stunning city and nowhere near the tourist levels of Paris and Venice.
