University Mace

I was chatting to someone today on the sofa in Executive Office which sits below this mace so I thought I would take a picture. It wss gifted by the sponsoring Universities of Aberdeen,Strathclyde and Edinburgh and was made by Edinburgh school of art in honour of the UHI gaining University title in 2011. It`s made of ash and silver with gold detail and has representations of the beaches waves and mountains that form our landscapes . I think it is beautiful.
