Architecture

Day 1 of 2 of an Architectural Photography course, courtesy of RIBA and the British Library. Today the group was at Portland Place, the HQ of the Royal Institute of British Architects. We were given an interesting talk about some of the arch. photo collections, before considering some more contemporary shots to get us thinking about our own photography.

Eventually, we were let loose around the building... :) This was one of my early shots, but easily my favourite from the day. 

Looking forward to tomorrow when we get to behind some of the scenes at the British Library.
