Burning of the Bear

I was invited by Katherine2805 to go and watch the Burning of the Bear ceremony in Newburgh this evening. They burn the lines of the bear to keep them weed free to help it be seen from a distance. It was such nice weather and a very calm relaxed atmosphere. 
Back to the house after for a cup of tea and a wee quiz which was fun.

Many congratulations To the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their wedding day today. I managed to waste a number of hours watching them today.
