North to Knutsford

Before today, Knutsford was just the name of some motorway services as far as I was concerned.

But now I know better. Elbows and I caught trains heading north to attend a wedding of a young work colleague from Westminster.

It was a delightful Jesus-centred wedding.

On each table at the ‘wedding breakfast’, there was one chefs hat, one chopping board, one butchers apron and a carving knife and fork. A joint of roast beef was then delivered to each table and a carver was chosen. How cool. :-)

Lots of lovely connections too. In the garden after the service itself, we even stumbled across my niece and her boyfriend. Big smiles ....

So not quite THE Royal Wedding, but a very special one indeedie.

Home to prepare for a big day tomorrow.
