Bloom

The lilac tree at the end of the garden is suddenly in bloom, and looking great against the sunny skies.

It is a bit unruly and out of control, growing in two completely different directions. Most of the flowers are feet above our heads too.

But we will let it have a flourish over this season and then get it under control. I'm harbouring a wee plan for a bluebell area underneath and a nice focal point.

For now, with this profusion of flowers though, all is forgiven.
