Juvenile Heron

When I wandered to the seafront and Seafield pond this afternoon with Zoe I was rather surprised that there seemed precious little for me to photograph. met ofd the early spring blooms have died off. I had taken some reeds in the ripples of the pond but to been particularly inspired. As we were walking alongside the river and juvenile heron flew down into the river and stayed still there for some minutes. Time enough for me to put in some exposure compensation because its white feathers were blowing out. 'Serendipity' I call it and it happens so often if you are willing to be patient with your photography.
