Everything’s coming up roses

This year I have aimed for colour in the garden.

Mostly I have done this by buying marked down bedding plants from the local hardware store and hoping.

This basket is my best so far. I just adore the colours

Am still waiting on my trailing lobelia to trail and for my verbana to appear.

Finally my arm felt better than it has felt for four weeks, and so I resisted the pull of the allotment and stayed home and did some housework. Gently and carefully.

So now the house is better, smelling fresher, and looking tidier. And I’m exhausted.
