Celebration in the Desert

Welcome to "Impossible."   

Impossible.....That's what all the naysayers have said from the beginning.  As a first-year expansion team, it was predicted that they would win very few games.  When they kept winning games, they predicted they would never make it to the playoffs  When they made it to the playoffs, they predicted that they would be eliminated right away.   Well, the Vegas Golden Knights are going to the Stanley Cup Finals.  They have made sports history, broken every record and we are over-the-moon.  They are the "real deal." 

I took this shot this morning when we took a pre-game hike in Red Rock Canyon.  There were lots of wildflowers and the cacti were starting to bloom.  After the game today, our son sent us a phone shot snagged off the Canadian TV of him(on the left) and the General Manager enjoying watching the team on the ice celebrating their amazing win. I have loaded it into the extras.
