Today, after attending the local church at Trout Lake which we very much love, we hiked to Sleeping Beauty. The trail there and back is about 3 miles, with 1,430 feet gain in elevation. The high point is at 4,907 feet. And boy, are there some awesome views. We did not linger at the top, but it was well worth the effort. The main blip is of Mt. Adams, taken from close to the top. The extras are just a couple of the beautiful wildflowers we encountered in the forest, including what looks a lot like a blue anemone we have in Finland. Sketchy wifi here, I will comment when back home.
