Diversity

At first thought about seeing venders in front of a church, I thought how blasphemous selling things in front of God's house. However, when I started walking through the farmer's market and all the other sellers' booths, I saw more than religion. I saw how diverse the people of Bordeaux are. There were people of Middle East, Lebanese, North African, and Asian descent (and of course European descent). There were Christians, Muslims, possibly Buddhist and Jewish people. And the languages they all were speaking was like traveling to their places of origin. It's amazing how diverse the community is around the St. Michel Basilica. Those people may have not been Catholics, but the community that surrounds St. Michel is definitely something to be amazed at.
