Ferry 'cross the ......

.........Hamble ;-)

Lovely meal out last night, not too late to bed, but didnt sleep well at all, unlike hub!! Found it a bit warm......eventually got off just before 3, then up just before 9, dont feel too bad considering :-)

We sat outside first thing with a cuppa, already it was feeling warm. ......after a little walk up to the shop, hub and his sis stopped for a chat with the old lady who was their neighbour when they were children.

Later we went out for a drive over to Hamble, of Howards Way fame, had a nice little wander, not too far, BiL managed, with his leg in a cast, see extra, ( I did consider it for my main blip, as todays mono Monday theme is Trio, have tagged it anyway).

A leisurely lunch in The Bugle, followed by a coffee in the little cafe down by the waters edge, which is where I took this shot. The little pink ferries are used locally to go across to Warsash...must take all of 5 minutes to get to the other side ;-)

Although its been a lovely warm sunny morning, the forecasters seem to have got it right though, as it is now dark overhead with rumbles of thunder around, no doubt rain will follow shortly! Its supposed to dry up again by 6 this evening........ hope so as we are off across town to see War Horse tonight :-))

Our long weekend is coming to a close already, last day tomorrow :-/
